The next Project World School Family Summit is taking place at María de la O, a beautiful restaurant and event center designed for hosting and facilitating all kinds of gatherings.

No formal hotel has been arranged for the Summit gathering however, we will be adding suggestions in the coming months. Please check back here and the facebook page.
Many attending families are connecting with one another within the Project World School Family Summit Facebook Group and organizing among themselves to create greater opportunities for connection and community. Many families often come before the Summit and stay for a few weeks after.
Within the Project World School Family Summit Facebook Group the Summit’s location manager has provided several suggestions for lodging as well. Please check the “files” section in the group for more information.
Guide to Granada
There will be local, cultural family events and volunteer opportunities organized one week before the summit and one week after the summit. Please join the facebook group for all the planning details.
It is our hope that you use this situation as an opportunity to practice building community, tap into your resourcefulness and design a worldschooling experiences that serves you and your family within your own budget and comfort guidelines.
The closest airport to Granada is the International Granada Airport, officially named as Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén Airport. It is located 17 km from the city (25 minutes by car). We recommend that you check information about Granada airport services, and how to arrive here.
From the Airport to Granada – there are local buses from the airport to the city for 3€, run by the company Alsa. There are between 10 and 14 trips a day. Check the schedules, time, and prices here.
Coming from other cities in Spain – Since the only direct flight to Granada from out of Spain comes from London, it might work better for you to fly to another Spanish city and move from there:
